EFT or Tapping

Emotional Freedom Technique

Also known as “Tapping” is a powerful holistic healing technique based on combining principles of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology. This is a technique involving tapping on meridian points that regulate the nervous system. It puts the body back into the parasympathetic nervous system response, which is the rest and digest portion of our nervous system. This technique helps with anxiety, depression, PTSD, pain, weight loss and increasing energy levels, just to name a few.

Set up The job of the Set Up is to remove the psychological reversal that is the

result of subconscious self defeating, negative thinking. It is done by

repeating an affirmation three times while tapping the karate chop

point .

Example: “Even though I am really _______ about ______, I deeply and

completely accept myself and give myself permission to relax.” The blanks

are filled in with a brief description of the problem you want to address

such as fear of public speaking, anger in a situation or an area of physical pain.

After repeating the set up statement 3 times you will move on to tapping

the other points while you state different things about your statement.

You can do this as if talking to a friend, just stating what you feel. The second time

tapping through the point we will change to positive statements.

Step 1 While tapping the karate chop point, say your statement. Repeat it 3 times.

Step 2 Tap the eyebrow point Step 6 Tap chin point

Step 3 Tap the side of eye point Step 7 Tap collar bone points

Step 4 Tap under the eye point Step 8 Tap under arm point

Step 5 Tap under nose point Step 9 Tap top of head point
